The shelters with room for 20-25 people are integrated into the large campfire hut, which is located in the south-eastern corner of Refstrup Forest. There is a barbecue and fire pit as well as tables and benches. In addition, there is access to the toilet in the nearby scout hut.
The site is owned by the Danish Nature Agency.
