The shelters in Thorning are located at the Thorning Scouts' area. They are located in a scenic area, close to the troll bog and the city. There is both a pizzeria and a grocery store.
It is possible to drive to the site and park close by.
All shelters are located on plateaus. The two of them are located on the same plateau. The 4 of the shelters are large with pull-out tables and the last one is small.
At each shelter there is a small fire pit with a grate.
In the area there is an amphibious theatre with a fire pit, a fire hut with a loft, several table benches, a compost toilet and water as well as firewood.
Price DKK 30 per night, however, children under 5 years free. Paid via mobilpay when you arrive.
