Spend the night in nature at the peaceful Maugstrup Plantage in a shelter with room for the whole family.

Peaceful shelter overnight in the plantation

The shelter is located in the plantation owned by Maugstrup Church. The 40 hectare plantation is bright and open and consists primarily of spruce and pine trees. At the shelter site you will also find a campfire, and the shelter can house between 6-8 people. If you need provisions, there are good shopping opportunities in Vojens town 6 km away.

Near the shelter you will find a primitive toilet.

Directions:

By bike or by car: You will find the shelter between Maugstrup and Jegerup at the address Kestrupvej 3h, 6500 Vojens.
From Maugstrup, follow Haderslevvej towards Jegerup approx. 2 km, where you then turn left down Kestrupvej. The plantation is on the right-hand side 0.5 km from the junction. Turn into the plantation by the large stone, there is a parking space here, and then you can walk/cycle the rest of the way to the shelter. Follow the map board with paths where the shelter is marked.

On foot or by bike: The shortest way from the Hærvejsruten is the marked church path from Jegerup into the forest to the west. Follow the map board with paths where the shelter is marked.
