Urtehaven - Herb Garden

The Herb Garden in Nørresundby is a glimpse into the past. In Aalborg’s neighboring town, Nørresundby, you will find ‘Urtehaven’ – a unique garden with more than 300 different medicinal herbs.
The garden is handicap-friendly, with a focus on the visually handicapped in the constructed garden for sightless people. It is possible to feel the presence of history in the garden and relax in areas with beautiful nature with tables and benches for general use.
A stop at Snapseruten
Besides this, ‘Urtehaven’ is one of the stops on ‘Snapseruten’ (The schnapps route). In connection with ‘Urtehaven’, one will also come across ‘Raschgaarden’, ‘Pibemagerhuset’ and ‘Brohuset' which are parts of ‘Sundby Samlingerne’ that all are worth a visit. It is possible to get to ‘Urtehaven’ by car, bicycle, by bus number 13 towards Uttrup Nord or by foot.
