Close to Rold Skov's second largest lake, St. Økssø, you will find a picnic house. On the site by the lunch house there are also table and bench sets and barbecues that must be brought coal or firewood for the barbecue.
There is a parking space at the Mosskov Pavilion, from where there is access to the site through a viaduct under the track. There are good opportunities for wheelchair use in and around the site.
At Mosskov Pavillonen you will find access to toilets and drinking water.
The association Søens Folk uses the place all year round as a starting point for bathing in St. Økssø. Next to the packed lunch house, the association's members have a sauna during the winter months. At the lake there is a bathing jetty.
